UP AND RUNNING

St James 2.jpgChristchurch is still a great place to visit

It may not be at 100% but many businesses have reopened or relocated, tours are running again and there is plenty to see and do.

Accommodation is readily available and for those visitors who do not want to stay right in the middle of the city, there are many excellent B&Bs and homestays situated a little distance from the city centre but still conveniently placed.

Please contact us if you need any information or assistance with accommodation. Helping visitors find accommodation is our contribution to Christchurch and we hope it will be matched by yours in coming here.

Make sure you allow a day or two in Christchurch, either at the start of your stay or before you fly out. You may not see the many beautiful heritage buildings still standing but one thing is sure. You will be impressed with the courage and optimism of the Christchurch people with their 'get up and go' attitude. You may also enjoy being part of the re-birth of this beautiful city.

Christchurch Airport is the gateway to the South Island and has not been affected by the earthquake. During recent times the airport has been undergoing extensive renovation and expansion and is looking great. Well and truly ready to receive visitors.
